Projektass. Dipl.-Ing. Martin Weise

Martin is a PreDoc researcher at the Information and Software Engineering Group (IFS) at the department of Information Systems Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien). He received his MSc in Software Engineering & Internet Computing from TU Wien in 2022 and BSc in Software & Information Engineering from TU Wien in 2019.

He has published an article in a refereed journal and papers at international conferences.

His research interests cover a broad spectrum of secure data infrastructures, virtual research environments, FAIR data and digital repositories.

He currently leads an open reading group dealing with trusted research environments and FAIR sensitive data that meets every first Tuesday of the month 15:00 c.t. at his office.

Project Highlights

  1. EOSC Life, 2021-2023: Building a Digital Space for the Life Sciences. The project will publish FAIR data and a catalogue of services provided by participating RIs for the management, storage and reuse of data in the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

  2. FDA, 2020-2022: FAIR Data Austria. The FAIR Data Austria project is designed to strengthen knowledge transfer between universities, industry, and society und supports the sustainable implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Within the project, implementation of the FAIR principles (which mandate that research data be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) plays a major role.
